I found a digital edition of Dan John and Pavel's Easy Strength at bookdepository.com at a very reasonable 18€

I recommend this to anyone interested in programing not just for themselves but others. Very simple and down to earth as is everything that features Dan John. IMHO probably the best book to start with on the subject.

As with any book it has a bias, in this case towards Hard Style kettlebell work, but it still has more than enough general info to make it a VERY worthwhile read.

Another vote for Pilates for Men by Daniel Lyon Jr. It's a very well laid out book explained in a clear and straightforward manner. And lot of exercises, although not much pulling strength for upper body.

I'm bringing this thread back from the graveyard for two reasons.  Firstly, it is a great thread that I hope more newcomers can see.  Secondly, I have read Rob Faigin's Natural Hormonal Enhancement, and I highly recommend that you give it a read.

I picked up the Lloyd Redhead book for £3 incl postage from ebay. Odd indeed.
