Hello All:

First time poster, but long time reader.  I'm 14 days post-op surgery for a severe grade III shoulder separation and am currently in rehab to regain range of motion along with strengthening the joint.

Has anybody in the community experienced similar trauma with surgical repair and been able to return to gymnastic training?  If so, were there any exercises that were no longer possible?  I'd also be interested to learn how it is holding up.

Thanks in advance for any replies that can offer insight into what is possible and provide some hope of returning to something resembling normal.

Regards,

Chris

Hi Christopher,

Thank you for reaching out, we are here to help.

Coach Sommer's program has helped many athletes recover through past injuries. It will take some time but with dedication, the GB courses will definitely be beneficial for you.

I am going to bring @Wesley Tan into this conversation as he the owner of GymnasticBodies UK and has been studying as an osteopath for many years.
