Higher rep olympic style squats with wide stance and deep lunges will help your overall hip mobility so much it feels like cheating. However, not all movements or positions are safe with added weight. The weighted pike stretch and the deep wide squats are safe, but you would have to look at each stretch you wanted to load and analyze it carefully to be safe. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
