Uneven Bar Conditioning

I found this pdf file and its got some conditioning relevant for the uneven bars and I found it interesting. http://usagym.org/pages/home/publicatio ... ngbars.pdf

One or two of the exercises requires weight. The Prone Straight Arm Pull under the Kipping section and the Straight Arm Pulls with Weight under the Casting section. The problem is how much should I lift? Shall I lift what I can manage within sets of 8-12 reps? And shall I keep practicing those exercises until I can eventually reach my own bodyweight (64 kgs)?
