Hi,

My left elbow seems have Hyperextension.

Is it possible that's natural ?

Maybe i need more grip strenght work for strenghtening the elbows ?

My right arm is more strenght than the left.

No really pain with my left elbow

When i worked my german hang , my left elbow was the weak link (actually work tuck back lever)

What do you think ?

What do you recommend ?

Thanks for your help !

Yes, many people have natural hyperextension in their elbows. Basically genetic. Many ring gymnasts show considerable hyperextension to the point of freakidom.

Only thing you can really do is work the biceps a bit more. Basically the triceps has 3 attachements and the biceps have 2. Straight arm work tends to exarcerbate it.

Curls, rope pullups, supinated pullups "chinups", other bent arm work.

It's also not that unusual to have different degrees of elbow extension. If you are not having any pain issues, most likely there is nothing to worry about, other than the usual strengthening process going through the progression will take you through.

Of course, though we want fully extended elbows, this does not mean we lean on locked out joints, the supporting musculature is made quite firm all around the elbow.
