Blairbob
Interesting. Sometimes, I have figured that some people just have some of their inner ear or CNS damaged in regards to balance. Pretty much the only thing I've known to do is...work more balance stuff. This can be the usual standing balance stuff we train the 3 and 4yo to do and progressing them to doing it with their eyes closed One of the things I was taught to do in the MA was to learn how to feel my body actually moves, preferably slowly at a snail's pace. At times, we add doing this with our eyes closed or blind folded to enhance this. This is somewhat like blind tai chi. Tai Chi in itself when done will teach you a lot about awareness and balance that you might miss by moving the body too quickly (as in other MA or sports). So it sounds like besides moving the head around to get the hardware in the right place again, those exercises are pretty much the same though they may use balance balls or boards as well (some access to these in gyms).
