Nick Whetstone
I have finally decided that I have put off having back lever training into my routine for far too long and would like to start training them, however I have some problems. The main problem is that my shoulder flexibility is currently so poor that even the basic "skinning the cat" exercise causes discomfort. I'm not sure if this is normal and something I should work through or if I should continue working on shoulder dislocations until this discomfort goes away.Any tips on how to best prepare and get started on back lever training would be greatly appreciated. Gregor
IT's normal for beginners. Usualy is problem in the mix of poor flexibility and muscles and conective tissues are not adapted to high strain yet.To avoid misconfusion, for BL work you defenitly need acomplish "skin the cat" and need some flexibility but for BL flexibility is not an issue.
