Pommel Training for Dynamic Strength

Hi folks, I work rings for strength a lot but I was considering building a mushroom to do circles on to develop some dynamic strength as well, I was just wondering if pommel training is a good modality for developing dynamic strength before I buy the wood for the mushroom. The effort going into the mushroom is not an issue at the moment, I have loads of spare time haha. Cheers guys.

As long as it is understood that no significant plyometric adaptations will occur, yes working on the mushroom is very good for dynamic support strength.

Thanks Coach, I'll get cracking with my mushroom. I'll incorporate plyometrics at some point but the mushroom should be enough at the moment.
