bridge - distance between hands and feet

I'm starting to do some bridge work and was just wondering how much distance should be between my feet and hands when in a in the bridge position. I'm not able to do a bridge yet. I have my feet elevated using stall bars. I'm 5'6" if that helps. Thanks.

Don't worry about this too much if you are still working feet elevated. When you transition to the floor find a distance that lets you straighten your arms if possible. Feet in the beginning under the knees. If this isn't possible then you need to work the feet elevated a bit more, gradually lowering.
