Static Holds

After hearing that coach prefers to train manna separate from the (other) fundamental static holds, I've decided to start practicing them for 5-10 mins on my non-WOD days (Wednesday and Saturday). Would it be advisable then to add in sets of ring handstands to my static practice to get better in the ring handstand position?

Also, I was thinking of using the two off days references above to train manna as well as to do two weekly serious stretching sessions. Any experience/thoughts on this? Thank you!
