You can combine pushes and pulls however you want, play with what you are thinking for a few weeks and then try pairs in the same plane and see if you think there is even a difference.
The hollow can be like a tuck FL on the ground, and can be infinitely open all the way to the point where you are nearly in a handstand position. How open you are will depend on what you can hold properly!
