Emanuele Lo Curto
Hello all, i've just registered but have been following the forum for a while and it's really great . Anyway, when i was finally sure i'd stopped injuring myself in stupid ways (i got back to training the prerequisites although i could do more and did lots of prehab) yesterday i did it again ... i think i've injured the nerve that supply my left serratus anterior doing some trigger point work (i know, it sounds idiotic  ) i did my planks, hollows, archs and wall hs without pain but had some troubles controlling the scapula, and after the workout i found out that my left scapula winges and i couldn't contract my serratus (i can voluntarily on the right side). Today it feels very slightly better as i can contract it a little but not enough to prevent winging without a lot of effort; i know that you can't give me sure adivce without seeing me in person, but i'd like to hear your opinions, will this heal by itself ? obviously i'm going to rest my upper body, maybe i should do some activation work? i can still do scapular pushups without winging from quadruped or from a wall, aside from that i guess it's time to really work on SLS and hollow hold . Thanks in advance for any answer.
