hi to everyone...the problem i share with you is concerned with the pancake position...

i can do both the side split and i am at onyl 5 cm from the front split, i can do seated pike stretch with my chin to the knee, but for the pancake there is no way to progress and i want to get it! my back and my hips seems to be locked when i open my legs..

someone can help me to overcome this steady point?

thanks

You can do a full side split and can't do a pancake split? How open is your seated straddle pancake and how close is your chest or belly button to the ground?

yes man i'm not kidding you, i have side split on both side...in straddle depends on how much i want to open it, without warm up about 145°..if i warm up about 155-160°...and my chest is very far i don't think i can reach the 45° angle...

@alex87

Looks like u have confused the side and the front splits

U say front splits, when u actually mean side splits

And say side splits, when u actually mean front splits

Here is the Front split:

And the side split:

Also, i am facing the exact problem with the pancake stretch as u.. Progress is very slow.. :(
