nautee
falling from a handstand (no elevation, just the plain handstand) onto your head on concrete - how harmful is it, potentially? Not that I plan to do that On occasions I've had to wait somewhere I've considered using that wasted time well and getting up against a wall, and would have, except the floors were concrete or hard wood. nautee
Learn how to roll and cartwheel out of a handstand. Safety options.I am doing this now most of the time, but there is the occasional time I'll collapse or drop. ; when I don't have enough forward motion I get my head tucked in, I land on the fleshy upper thoracic spine and get the wind knocked out of me. I'm very, very happy my spinous processes don't show at all through the fat & muscle. Never did this on my head; a couple of times early on it happened too quick for me to tuck and I landed more on the neck than chest, but it's a small possibility. The reason I'm considering practicing in odd places is because dropping instead of rolling is getting rare. Rare is still not never though ...
