Hey guys!

I want to change the pronated grip to supinated grip when doing back lever. Well, for tendon strength in the biceps i think its really useful. Now i just want to know, if i do a supinated grip back lever, then my elbow tendons will totally will be ready for the planche? so for the elbows: supinated back lever=planche?

i have to mention, i want to train for the planche with hands backwards now.

Im interested in this topic. Thanks for the answers in advance.

There's plenty of info around the forum to read on this but basically a back lever with hands backwards with target your bicep tendon more and get it ready for planche. Training planche with hands backwards is also much harder due to balance and bicep tendon strength required but the benefits are great

Don't forget the elbow tendon, this is where it is the harder with hands backwards.

Yes it is helpful with hands backwards, if you want to get the maltese someday, and also for the Japenese HS :D

Back lever will really help if the biceps are your weak areas. They're definitely one of the biggest factors holding me back, and I really feel it in the back lever compared to the planche.
