front lever hyperextension elbows

Hi everyone, I've seen someone asking sort of the same question but no'one has really answered it yet.

I have hyperextended elbows and I was wondering when I'm doing the front lever static positions, should I

try to keep my arm straight or really lock in my elbows? The latter meaning my elbows are overextended about 8° past 180 °.

Is straight enough or is it necessairy to lock the elbows, even if they're then overextended by a few degrees ?
