Your influences

Mine in order of importance:

BtGB, this forum, convict conditioning, something Pavel, Mario Civalleri and Angelo De Angelis, something else in no particular order in internet.

I firmly believe that what prevents the Coach to churn out these five books are the blessed seminars around the world. No objection, but I bet my left wrist (it is almost throw-away) that at least 60% attending this forum is foaming at the mouth about everything concerning the world of gymnastics.

Of course, the world of "strength" sells itself to those who do not care nothing of gymnastics. But us poor fools who hunger for knowledge?

That is, I'm Italian, but to do a decent culture inherent gymnastics should come to Spain for the three seminars?

That's why when the coach can not respond to my needs, I ask YOU, visitors to the forum, to advise the sources of valuable information, possibly printed material concerning the world of gymnastics.

In short, not there a book that gives a concentration of knowledge that will give Coach (probably by 2020/2025), or allow to implement all aspects of gymnastics in a procedure designed to result?

Possible that our beloved Coach is the only being on this planet where a damn about gymnastics? Possible that there is no other source of information regarding ALL the aspects of this wonderful sport (always and only strength...)?

In any case, I will buy anything branded "Coach Sommer" (as I did) and go to these seminars if they also come in the "bel paese" ... but until then, what I read: D?

I hope I was clear.

hey I'm italian too and I do share your needs but it seems that there aren't comprehensive resources available. (that's also why I've just enrolled a gym class...)

the only serious thing I've found around to date is a dvd skill series, check it out, but I haven't bought it yet.

I'm also italian and desperate about the coach/gyms situation in the country. I understand that spreading info about how to be a strong enemy in competition is something coaches do not have in first place on priority list :D

I'm joking, coach sommer already shared a ton of information, answered people all around, and created a global community, something that nobody in the world have done so successfully.

Rick McCharles has the biggest blog on gymnastics world http://gymnasticscoaching.com/new/ (not much on strength, alot on skill training), check it now.
