Another thread has discussed Mr. Kelly Starrett's mobility WOD, and the articles featuring him in the Crossfit journal. They just put out another article in the 2-minute drill series concerning mobility, this time about internal rotation of the shoulder. Relative to our interests here, there is a good discussion about internal rotation, the shoulder, and muscle ups. Worth checking out if you have a subscription.

I don't have a subscription, but I assume it's all about internal rotation with retracted scapulas/good position within the glenoid socket, as opposed to stereotypical benchpressers with internal rotation?

That's right, although the presentation was less about the anatomy, and more a demostration of specific techniques to insure good shoulder mobility, and getting the shoulder to be able to work from the right spot, i.e. not positioned forward.
