Hi,

Would doing core work after the workout of the day make the lever and planche proggressions go any quicker? I've been trying to come up with auxillary work at the end of each workout for practice in my static proggressions. I've been doing this after the WOD.

1. Hanging Leg lifts 5 reps

2. L sit 10 seconds

3. Handstand stomach to the wall 60 seconds

4. Tuck planche 3 sets 5 seconds

5. Tuck Back and Front Lever 15 seconds each

Will this auxillaryt work at the end of each WOD be helpful to make the Proggressions go faster?

Cody allot of that is part of the Static work we do as a warmup at the beginning of the workout. There are a number of current threads on this as its something many of us are getting a handle on. look around for threads on the statics and you'll find recommendations and interesting discussion which you are welcome to comment on.

I really suggest your get your hands on the book "Building the gymnastic body" by coach Sommer. Not only will it answer your questions, but you will understand what you are doing by training your body this way. You'll also find all the progressions you need in there.
