Hi everyone,

I would like to know wich advanced ring element put the most pressure on the bicep tendon and need the longest elbow preparation.

I suspect the supi back lever to be the most intensive because the bicep is stretched behind the body

What do you think ?

Cheers

I write here in order increse stress:

- back lever

- rings planche

- iron cross

- maltese cross

- iron cross pullout

- inverted cross

Thanks Alessandro, It makes a lot of sense !

Doest it mean that a japanese handstand would be more bicep intensive than a floor maltese ? (considering the arms are spread at the same width in the 2 positions)

i refer to inverted cross to rings movement.

i would put the japanese handstand.....well depends how you do it because if you use the floor friction then the stress on bicep is less...if not is higher especially because shows additional stress on the short head of the bices due to the shoulder horizontal abduction.
