Pike questions

I had a double hip replacement 3 months ago. Therefore, splits are a no no for me.
But I want to get back some form of athleticism.
In the past, doing hot Yoga, I got very close to get into a pike position (much better than the picture) now it is a goal.
Other than a Jefferson curl what else should I be doing? At which frequency?
Thank you

Hi marcio, personally i see that the vast majority of the limitation is located at the hips..but by reading your post you have some limitations on working on them...

If you can work through the middle split stretch course the piriformis variation is very very useful. But i'm not sure you can do it. I do not know the necessary for your hips replacement and what type of limitation are connected to it.
