Alessandro Mainente Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 hello, i have a problem with my active flexibility...when i'm training i cannot use my real split extensions and i don't know why....after the training i usually do the PNF isometrich stretching and i've reached the saggital split, for the frontal i have about 10 cm from the floor...but although this improvements i can't use my really flexibility when i perform for example flare.....why?and do you have any tips for reach tha pancake position?thanks for the answer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

braindx Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Work on your active compression, especially in straddle.Although your hamstrings and adducts may allow you to obtain splits, your hip flexors/abductors do not have enough strength to allow you to do this effectively.
