Im curious about how usefull dips and pull ups are after you can do a muscle up. Is there a point to training them at all, and can you maintain your numbers just by doing muscle ups?

Thank you for your time.

It's more like the usefulness of the muscle up goes down once you can do a lot of them.

While they can be put into rings sequences/routines, they cannot be used for strength work well because when you add weight the transition can kill your elbows.

Pullups and dips have various harder progressions and multi-plane variations that you can use with them to develop strength. There's only a couple like Galimores that have any use for muscle ups.

Basically, once you start working upper level strength you will rarely use muscle ups except in sequences or a couple moves like Galimores. Pullup and dip variations are still a staple of programming for strength.
