Helping Family members with training

Hello all, I'm having a bit of a dilemma and I'm wondering if anybody has any experience or insights that might be helpful. I am currently on the program, but want to get my mother and father to start as well. I have tried previously, but it didn't stick when I wasn't there to coax them along and help with form. How can I help them best? My father has the mobility of a lego man, and my mother has weak and (some) hyper mobile joints. I would like to get them started on foundations, but am unsure how to make a lasting change (going off to college soon). Any advice or experiences would be very appreciated

HI Nathaniel , for adults we can make a sort of goals in order of importance:

first: for very tight people the first goal it is the posterior chain release;

second: core strength;

-three: legs strength;

-4th: upper body mobility;

-5th: upper body strength.

Hey Nathaniel,

First, do they want to invest some time to train with GB?   This will help a lot to see if your efforts will be beneficial or not.

If they are in, like Alessandro is saying, put little goals for them to achieve (SMART goal) and try to do some follow up with them once in a while since you want to help them.  The more precise it is, the more fun and challenging their trainings are going to be.

The goal here is to motivate them.  Try to find the reasons they would do this, and, maybe some rewards after their successes. :)
