Hi Gal,

Recovery times from exercise are very individual. Some research suggests that muscle soreness will peak 48hrs post exercise. However, recovery of tissue is affected by many different factors like intensity and duration of exercise, size, and type of muscle fibers, age, nutrition, if you are getting adequate rest. As I said there is no one size fits all. It is something that an individual will need to monitor for themselves. Can you be more specific about your individual situation, what type of stretching are you doing, how long are you waiting between workouts, are you still sore?

it strongly depends of your level of fitness and central nervous system ability to recover. these type of qualities are build up from year to year of training. individual ability cannot be understood easily. you have to try.
