Jacob Primeaux
I have little tiny rinky-dink wrists that seem prone to injury. Especially if I come down hard on my hands, say having to move to balance in a handstand, I'll often get crepitus in my wrist during external rotations (right side only, thankfully) and have to take time off or it gets worse and I start to lose strength in it. I've had one doc tell me this is just because the (non-muscular) sleeve of tissue around my wrist there is loose and there's nothing much to do; I have a suspicion that maybe its something further up the kinetic chain, just like a knee problem can often be traced to the glutes (or feet, or both). I'm not looking for a diagnosis (I already have one, heh), just avenues to explore to see if I can fix it. Thanks for any ideas.
Everett Carroll
Hi Jacob, The best advice I can give you is to work closely with a physio. The wrist flexibility and strength exercises from the Handstand One course may be a good solution but you should consult with your physio about it.
