Strenght from Bridges Pushups

Hi, new guy here.
I know that bridge pushups are basically stretches for the shoulders, torso and hips and that gymnasts use them to increase the flexibility of these areas for more advanced skills.
I was wondering if there any strength benefits of performing bridge pushups? My glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, triceps and even the spinal erectors and quads seem to get a workout from them. There are also the one leg and the one arm versions ...
Can the move be used to increase overhead push or hip extension strength?
