Rotator cuff and dynamic stabalization

So, I saw the following exercise today.

The point of this exercise is to improve the ability of the rotator cuff to dynamically stabilize the humeral head in the glenoid fossa.

I was wondering if ring work accomplishes the same function.

It would seem to me that the answer would be ABSOLUTELY!!!

Even the simple ring pushups, dips, planches, and etc would do way more that that little ball would...
