rubadub Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I saw a video from another thread using vertical poles (Chinese poles).Hr4r3gKTAsU I have found some angled ones in a local park, the have a slight curve and are not perfectly vertical, but not far off towards the top, maybe an angle of approx 10 degrees. I could do ~16 decent chinups ~14pullups both full ROM, chest to bar. I only managed 6 of these, it is my third time doing them, last time I managed 5. I also do rope pullups which are quite different to these, I can manage about 14 rope pullups. I find these hit the biceps a lot more and the wrists. Do you consider these a worthwhile exercise?
