Jacob Barzeele Posted May 19, 2016 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Hello all! I'm new here, Just finished the first week of fundamentals, and I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself! My name is Jacob, I'm 18 at the moment. I have a history of Gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do, and I am casual practitioner of Parkour. In the last 5-ish years my mobility has degraded to the point where I can't even sit in a pike with my back straight. This is mostly due to the fact that as soon as I graduated HS (Two-almost three years ago.) I started working a lot and stopped doing anything mobility related. Before that I had quit both Gymnastics and TKD due to the fact that I was a "Bored Teenager" so to speak and decided that I didn't want to do either anymore. And that cause my mobility to really suffer. I heard about Coach Sommer's system through Tim Ferriss' Podcast. (Common story it seems.) And decided that this was the kind of strength/mobility training that I was looking for. So far it feels great to start feeling the stretch and just overall feeling that I remember from back when I was in gymnastics!
