Aviv Lugtenaar
Hey, a friend of mine asked me to poast a question here again. He is 16 and quit a big guy, 90 kilo´s. He says he has a bit of fat, mostly aournd his tommy area. And he wonderd if he´d just do strength training if he may grow mussle, but that the fat stays so that he gets bigger mussles under the fat, like getting a sixpack and not being able to see it. So he was wondering if he should first loose weight and then do strength exercises. I´d think that if you do strength exercises you use more energie and burn more calories so that you would loose fat and grow mussle at the same time, but I don´t know for sure. Is there anyone here that knows the answer?
braindx
You can do both.Training strength will produce strength adaptations.DIET/NUTRITION is the key to losing fat.The only "problem" you will run into is that it will be a slow process because adding strength is faster when you're staying at the same weight and even better when you're gaining weight. But this is usually a good idea for beginners especially if they are obese.
