Guest irongymnast
I find them harder on the floor than on the parallets. Is that the usual opinion?
Blairbob
Some movements are easier on the parallettes.
Bob Sanders
I find doing L-Sits on parallel bars easier than doing them on the floor. I can't lift myself up on the floor. But keep practicing; you'll get there.
irongymnast
This is strange.I thought that I couldn't do the advanced frog stand but I actually can on the floor! But not on the parallets. As for frog stands, on the parallets it's easier for me than on the floor. :? I think I can actually do the tuck planche as well (on the floor). :? I'm not quite sure that my hips are at shoulder's height though.P.S: Got my book at last!!
irongymnast
Is the tuck planche valid after kicking almost into a handstand? Because that way I can hold it for 3-4s, but cannot elevate myself if I begin from the floor (not at shoulder level).
Blairbob
Yes, it is ok to lower into the tuck planche from a HS. This could be considered an "embedded" programming approach.
