Marc Codere Dussault
Hello friends Looking for any insight into stretching the scalenes. I keep getting the first rib stuck in an elevated position and the effect is pain in my wrist extensors/elbow. Manual therapy (i.e. my osteopath pushing the rib back down) usually solves the elbow/extensor pain within 2 days. One thing my osteopath notes is that my scalenes are extremely tight so I'm looking for any clever contraption to stretch them out as it seems to be the main issue... Any insight appreciatedThanks! Cole Dano
I'd try self massage. Scalenes respond very well to massage.
Biren Patel
To add to Cole, check out Trigger Point therapy by Clair Davies. There is a section in there on scalene massage I thought was quite nice.
