Joshua Naterman Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 As long as you don't overdo it, weights just make you stronger, and will help the gymnastics.As for the steady state cycle, the reason you wait so long is because your tendons and ligaments don't get stronger as fast as muscle does. By doing the same thing for a few months you let the tendons get stronger, so when you go to the next workout you don't get tendonitis or anything like that. Blairbob Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 Impressive. Try to keep your knees together in the 1/2 lay. When they go apart, they are effectively a bit more like a straddle.
