Handstand beginning

Well after asking the question recently, 'how to progress from ring supports, a few dips on rings etc...

I attempted Coach Summers advice on how to start basic handstand work on rings. I set them up to hip bone height and did as he said, little hops under control with body bent over and shoulders being just next to my hands on the rings.

Guess what? I put pressure on the rings and managed a tuck (face was a bit red!!) and I extended my feet a up a little!!

I actually think I could have gone higher but tell you the truth, I was quite scared!! I was on my own and in my garden I had no safety padding / mats.

This week end I will try it with my wife guiding me.

Real pleased!! But after doing it 5 times and holding a half tucked/extended position for say 5 or 6 seconds, my shoulder sure balooned up!!!

But I am still rubbish on pull-ups though!!!

Oh well, keep trying!!
