I particularly like the focus on maximizing "fitness after-effects" and minimizing "fatigue after-effects." Jesse Frigo Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 A famous powerlifter/coach (Dan John) once said something to the effect of, "Any idiot can smoke an athlete, but you have to know what you are doing to make him stronger and faster." I think this is the line that divides "working out/exercising" from "training"- having a progressive program over time.
