Alex Chaney
Hey Coach, I am currently using the bower progressions for my upper body push and I was wondering if you could lay out a progression like you did with the bower for the OAC (to supplement my push work). Is this possible or should I follow the BTGB pullup progression? Thanks,Alex
Coach Sommer
My recommendation is to follow the Foundation Course rope climbing progressions. At the end of them, most students already have a OAC with little to no extra training required; as well as having avoided the severe elbow tendonitis that most people encounter during OAC training.Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer

Coach Sommer
Sorry. There is no alternative. Get a rope! An 8' section if you have to, but get a rope. There is truly no substitute.Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer
