Handstand kick off

Hi all,

I'm still a beginner in handstand work but I now know that one of the hardest things to master with handstand is the kick off. Once you find your balance it’s a matter of upper body strength. I train between 10to 20 min in the evening against a wall and still have hard time with my kick off. I do the classical one, kicking one leg first.

But then 3 days ago I realised that if I kick with both legs at the same time and then stay in a tucked position just enough time to stabilised and find my balance (less than 1sec) and then extend my legs, my handstand is a lot better.

More over, I discovered that spreading aside my legs aside helped with the balance…

Does anyone experiment the same kind of things?

Yep I know! That's how I started to think about moving my legs around and try diferent things to move from my "stucked state" :D

Thanks anyway!
