Odd Knee Pain

For the last week or two my knee has been experiencing an odd pain - no idea what the cause was for it either. The pain seems to be right under the kneecap. When I do my frog stand work the pressure of my knees pressing against my arms triggers the pain (kind of a sharp initial pain and then a dull ache - this lessens over each set). The pain is not there when doing any squatting movement, nor jumping activities - it seems to be solely a pressure thing. Sometimes just kneeling on my bed triggers it as well. There is no swelling at all.

My inclination is to believe it is some type of bruise, but if anybody has any insight or recommendations I'd appreciate it.
