There are two reasons for this: The first is that the first athlete perform the front lever with his scapula slightly protracted, whereas the second athlete has his scapula in a neutral position. The second reason is the posterior pelvic tilt. The first athlete seems to tilt his posterior pelvic in such a way, an arch in his lower back appears, the second one does the opposite, his lower back is completely flat. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I actually think that his lower back is flat and he is retracting.. I saw a topic here people said it is solid front lever ..
