Michael Böhme
what do you think of this :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIbrXCo-_Bs ? Nice variations to strengthen your core and your complete scapular /shoulder girdle muscles in many angles. This will be not only benificial for handstands but for many other exercises. Joshua Slocum
This is very advanced pressing work. Performed at the right stage in one's development it would indeed build a great deal of scapular strength and stability. However, it should not be undertaken until after achieving very solid two-arm handstands and press handstands.
Mikael Kristiansen
I dont see much here really. Its fine for some general conditioning but nothing of it is even remotely close to the difficulty of even a normal 1 arm handstand and would be much better off learning to balance a straddle 1 arm for 30+ seconds and learning flag variations. He is all the time sliding on the floor and he does not have to deal with the actual challenge of doing pressing work on 1 arm, which is having all your stabilizers already at full work keeping you in balance, and then moving a load which is off center from your alignment. Once you have a second point stabilising you it is not the same at all, especially if you arent fully on top of your arm.
