Yianni Stathopoulos Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 Hey there everyone! I'm looking for some good exercises to strengthen my core for hand balancing, what would you guys suggest? The trick is I recently hurt my shoulders and I can't perform any exercises which require me to hang on something or push myself off the ground using my shoulders for the next few weeks. Can anyone suggest some exercises to do for my core until my shoulders heal? I'd also just appreciate any advice you have in general. Thanks! Andrew Long Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 Standard response would be h1 for improving your balancing in general also foundation series has a lot of core work. Aside from that I'd try things like hollow body holds and arch holds, v ups, practicing good pelvic tilt. If you search the forums you will find info about all those things and more but honestly if you want to get better at hand balancing h1 is most definitely the way to go also f1 for the core stuff and basically everything else you could imagine.
