Tomas Johansson Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I do my gymnastics strengthtraining routine 3 times a week to get my body "functional" for my other activities that I do more randomly when conditions are right (climbing and windsurfing mostly) and to keep my body healthy.I think my program don't give me the endurance and workcapacity that I used to get when I did strictly kettlebell training and I would like to include them again in my program. I am thinking of doing them 2 times a week on non gymnastic training days but not if go climibing or windsurfing so I will have 2 complete restdays a week. What I intend to do is about 10 minutes of swings or snatches at 80-90% of my HRM.Long intro but here is the question. Do you think that the kettlebells training will slow down or help the strength gains from the gymnastics training? Don't want that because that is still priority one at the moment.
