Gymnastics Training Camps

I was wondering when these take place for... probably more senior level?  Are they all in Colorado Springs?  I know junior nationals happened recently - I think that was just a weekend event. 

 

Do gymnasts, potentially striving for the Olympics, train here for an extended period of time?  And last question, haha... is it the same for mens and womens artistic in terms of when camps take place?

- The most recent Mens and Women's Jr Nationals both occured last May, 2012.

 

- All Mens US National Team Training Camps (Juniors and Seniors) take place at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

- All Womens US National Team Training Camps (Juniors and Seniors) take place at the Karolyi Ranch outside of Houston, TX.

 

- Depending on the level of training camp duration will run from 4-7 days and frequency will vary from once per month for the women to 3-6 times per year for the men with special training camps inserted into the schedule for high level competitions like World Championships or Olympics.
