Endurance X Strength

Is it wise to traing both strength, using heavy added weight on dips and pullups, and endurance, lots of reps and super sets, together in the same week as a normal weekly routine. I have read different answers to this before. Some say training both is fine, some say you should train one or the other at a given time. What do you guys/girls think?
