mattdaly
Just wondering has any one tried the Jordan Jovtchev rings strength conditioning workouts which can be seen on youtube? I have just come back from a 4 month ac joint injury (not gymnastic related) and have done 2 weeks worth and they seem to be helpful for me. Has anyone used them in a long term and seen good results in fitness and strength. I find them useful as can scale it to your ability (I have lost some strength due to the extended lay off). Let me know please so I know that it is or isn't a good exercise regime to follow. Thanks!
Randeep Walia
Come on, man... Jordan J is a gymnastics legend and there are hundreds of videos with him. You can't provide a link or anything?

Blairbob
I deleted the link and notified Tyler Hass since I can't report the video on youtube.
Coach Sommer
The video is widely available on youtube, however you should be aware that the video in question has nothing whatsoever to do with Jordan's own ring strength training. The video is not his, he was simply hired to model someone else's training ideas.Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer

Is that his warmup or is he also a 'model' for somebody else in that video? Thanks
Coach Sommer
I do not have specific information regarding the veracity of the warmup DVD. Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer
Ryan Libke
I have viewed the warm up video, and would generally recommend a watch. It is not so much instructional, in the sense of explaining why each movement is done, but it does provide a nice sequence for things. I am not qualified to say whether or not the warm-ups shown are sound or effective, but I have taken some of the movements into my warm-up. I do not think that the usual garage athlete will have the time, ability, or need to do the whole of each warm-up sequence shown. Indeed, Mr. Jovtchez's warm-up on some of the apparatus is well beyond my ability. It is cool to see him in action, anyway.
