You can check some of gripboard.com and see if there is a US source for the Vulcan or Baraban. Otherwise you'll have to order from David Horne for the Vulcan in the UK. Baraban is in Austria.

Baraban's regular style grippers are no better or worse than Iron Mind's. I think the Vulcan is superior to Baraban's equivalent.

The vulcan looks fatastic. If i want it, it costs 100 plus whatever shipping is from UK. But we have a Jedd Johnson here who is part of the diesle crew. I don't know if that makes a difference. Its obviously going to be a jorney like every other practice i have engaged myself in. There is one awesome website i found though. http://cannonpowerworks.com/pages/about-us. It has really helped with my gymnastic training as well

Nice site! I haven't looked at grippers in a while, but it looks like Iron Mind is getting more and more competition.

Actually looking at the site now I remember what the major difference with the R Baraban's were, they are a narrower set. At this point if I were to buy more I'd rather do that, because, I'm not that 'serious' about it and it's just one technique aspect less to worry about.

Something like the Vulcan is great if you're not worried about certification and just training for your own pleasure. In the long run it's going to be more versatile but it is a wide perhaps even very wide set. Good or bad depending on your goals.

I've been a member of the gripboard for years. I completely recommend the Vulcan. It has gone through a few iterations now. The new one has a very wide sweep which means setting it is a bit more of a pain but allows a lot of variation. One easy thing to overlook is the fact that it is NOT knurled like the others. If I do too much volume with the other it tears the callouses and all up. The vulcan does not.

Get the Vulcan from Jedd it will cost you less in shipping.

I would tell you to visit the grippersuperstore, that's where I got my Beef Builders, but they stoped selling grippers from other brands.

You can go to http://www.wwfitness.com/ (Weightlifters Warehouse, WFS), the Beef Builder's official page.
