michaelg
I posted this in the actual Cirque sticky topic but it looks hard to notice when people post in there anyway.I can do one arm pulls for two reps, I can do negatives with ease, and proficient with standard no legs rope climbs and with 50 pounds of weighted added on. But I tried to do cirques the other day and wow, to crush a rope hard enough to keep yourself up must take PHENOMENAL grip strength for even just one negative. What can I do to help develop this crazy grip strength? Philip Chubb
If you can do rope climbs with 50 added pounds and OACs, but can't do the negatives, that is what you need to focus on. Try doing negatives with two arms or lightly using your feet on the rope to lessen how much weight you have to lift.

Philip Chubb
Anytime. I can do several one arm chins too but it seems like cirques, especially the negative part, need pretty specific training to get better at them. Though when you go back to doing oacs on a bar, they are way easier.
