Alessandro Mainente
maybe for to much time i use the wring moment to breathe...so from your experience for the pommel as for the rings when is the best moment to breathe?
Blairbob
I didn't see this earlier. Your breathing will pretty much take of itself. In the beginning, many beginners will hold their breath while training some static holds but eventually they learn how to relax enough to breathe. Relax and just let it happen. If anything, exhale upon exertion. On a rings swing, I prefer to exhale at the peak of the swing in front or back.
Alessandro Mainente
thank you blairbob, now i can breath during the isometrick holds or during the rings, the problem occurs during the pommel!usually doing some movements i exale during the active phase and inale during the negative or when i relax the muscles, but in the pommel horse routine i can't find a moment where i can relax the muscles! so what are the best choice? Blairbob
short breaths whenever you can, pommel is the most "aerobic" of the men's apparatus though you can sometimes get a break when you go into single work.
