Advanced tuck planche progession

Hey guys. I have been training the advanced tuck planche for quite some months now but I don't seem to progess. I'm stuck at a hold of 5-8 sec. I trained it in my SSC with 6 sets of 5 secounds but it haven't got me anywhere. I read about doing low and high intensenty fps trainings. Should i try to do 2 days with 6 sets of 10 sec tuck planche and 2 days with the advanced tuck training? Do you think that would help me to progess or do you have any suggestions?

I also do some planche leans and try to play with the planche sometimes. Like doing L-sit to advanced tuck.

I recently bought an elastic band so i'm also going to practise straddle and full planche with a band on my feet :)

Please reply if you know how I could progess!

Thanks :)

Check lower back strength aka position of BL.

Check raw upper body strength aka dips and HSPU or tuck PL pushups.

Thanks alot :) I can already hold straddle BL for a moment.

I am also pretty good at dips and I have practised tuck PL pushups but I will work more on that with strict form! :)

Althrough i'm working alot to improve my HSPU strenght. I can only do 5 Hespu with wall.. :)

Thanks I hope that helps. But what do you think about my idea with training high and low intensity?

it's an interesting idea that has been floating around here lately on the forums. I think Slizzardman was talking about and I've thought about it as well were I to go back on another SteadyStateCycle program.

I have heard talk of training tuck pl progression with hips high before you move on to advanced tuck, hips slightly above shoulder lvl, I have seen it on many gymnastics coaching videos on different sites, not to highjack this thread but how do we feel about this idea? It is also a possible intermediary step if you are struggling with the transition between tuck and adv tuck.
